The NIHR Exeter CRF manages two biobanks:
1. Peninsula Research Bank that manages data, contact details, blood and urine samples from volunteers from the Exeter 10000 and DARE studies. To apply for access, please contact L.Allen@exeter.ac.uk or download the request forms here.
2. The Royal Devon & Exeter Tissue Bank, setup in 2011 has been developed to proactively collect tissue for forth-coming studies examining biomarkers. The bank aims to collect any tissue available during routine procedures at the hospital. The bank also houses 1000 prostate, bladder, kidney and bowel samples from the closed Exeter Tissue Bank.
